I know that when my daughter was born I could sense a softening in my husband(but don't tell him that). He was so afraid to hold her expecting her to be a fragile thing. And when she came she was anything but fragile. I could see the love and pride in his eyes as he held and realized he would not break her. As she has grown I just love to watch them interact. And it just makes me love them both even more! When Faith approached me about collaborating on a Daddy/Daughter themed kit I jumped at the chance. I sat at my art table and I just painted away. LONG overdue update

So I have been busy designing and not much time for blogging in my schedule. Between chasing after my 2 year while trying to paint my little illustrations, I'm sure you can understand. Life just got a little bit busier too! I made it into the So you Think You Can Design competition at Digiscrapaddicts. I found out on Saturday that I made that first cut! Woot. Our first challenge was to choose one of 4 palletes and to create a kit from it. I chose this pallete:

I've been painting pretty much nonstop since Sunday. And thanks to an absessed tooth had time in the wee hours to paint(since it hurt too much to sleep). Thankfully that is all taken care of! Maybe my next kit will be a dentist one!
