This time of year has to be one of my favorites. Living in the northeast all my life I have grown to know September as apple picking season. What is more fun for a kid than climbing trees and picking delicious, crisp, ripe apples. Although the orchards around where we live have been adapted to make picking easier without climbing. So my little ones just love walking right up to a tree and filling out basket. We also go to the same orchard every year and I just love to see how our family has grown and changed.
